Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Brickworks Macon Concrete and Masonry handles the information you share when you visit our website, call us or ask for an estimate. We're a masonry contractor in Macon, GA, and we work on homes in Macon and the cities around it.
We only collect what we need to answer you, look at your job and do the work. We don't sell your information to anyone. You can learn more about us on our About page, or go back to the home page at any time.
What information we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we get what you type in. That's usually your name, phone number, email, the address of the job and a short description of the work, such as a cracked chimney or a driveway you want redone.
If you call us at (478) 309-1109 or email us, we keep the details you give us so we can follow up and set up an estimate.
When you browse the site, we and the tools we use may collect basic technical information. This includes your browser type, the device you're on, the pages you visit, how long you stay and the general area you're browsing from. This information doesn't tell us who you are by name.
Cookies and analytics
Our site may use cookies, small files your browser saves, so the site works properly and so we can see which pages people use. We may use analytics tools to count visits and see how people find us, so we know which pages are helpful and which need work.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work if you do, though some features may not behave quite the same.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to your request, schedule a visit, give you an estimate and do the job if you hire us. We may also use it to send invoices, answer questions after the work is done and keep records of the jobs we've done.
We use site traffic information to improve the website. We don't use your contact details for unrelated marketing, and we don't sell or rent them to other companies.
Who else may see it
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so the information you enter passes through their system before it reaches us. Analytics and website hosting providers may also handle technical data on our behalf. These companies follow their own privacy policies.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or when we need to protect our business, our crew or our customers. Outside those cases, your details stay with us.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to handle your request and the job, and as long as business and tax records require. If you asked for an estimate and didn't hire us, we usually don't keep your details longer than needed to follow up.
When we no longer need the information, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we need to keep something for a legal or tax reason, and if so, we'll tell you why.
You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Depending on the state you live in, you may have other rights under your state's privacy laws, and we'll honor them.
Children's information
Our website is meant for adults arranging work on their homes. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we find out we have, we'll delete it.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us, and we limit who can see it to the people who need it to do the job. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive details like bank or card numbers through our contact form.
How to raise a privacy question or concern
If you have a question about this policy or want to make a request about your information, call us at (478) 309-1109 or reach out through our Contact page. We're available Mon–Fri: 8 AM–9 PM and Sat–Sun: 6 AM–9 PM.
Tell us what you'd like us to do, and we'll respond within 1 business day. We may ask a question or two to confirm it's you before we change or delete anything.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, and it applies from the time it's posted.
